Our annual golf tournament honors the memory and legacy of SSgt. Tanner Romanos, whose life embodied integrity, compassion, and leadership. Every swing, every sponsor, and every scholarship carries his spirit forward.

Since our founding in 2023, we've turned Tanner's legacy into action by supporting students who demonstrate the same values he lived by. Join us as we continue this mission of empowering the next generation of leaders.

Arrive at The VUE Country Club for registration, check-in, and breakfast. Meet fellow golfers and pick up your tournament materials.

Shotgun Start

Tournament begins with a shotgun start. All foursomes tee off simultaneously for an exciting day of golf.

Enjoy on-course competitions, refreshments at various holes, and beautiful views as you play.

Social Hour

Kick back and relax in the VUE's pristine clubhouse and order a drink. Talk with friends, other golfers, etc. and wind down a bit before we kick off the dinner ceremony.

Where is the tournament held?
The 2026 tournament takes place at The VUE Country Club, located at 157 Putnam Avenue, Hamden, CT 06517. The VUE offers a beautiful championship course and exceptional facilities for our event.
What's included in my registration?
Your registration includes 18 holes of golf, breakfast, on-course refreshments, post-tournament dinner, awards ceremony, tournament swag, and the satisfaction of supporting student scholarships.
Can I register as an individual or do I need a full foursome?
Both options work! You can register as an individual and we'll pair you with other golfers, or you can register as a complete foursome. It's a great opportunity to meet new people or golf with friends.
What is the money raised used for?
All net proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for Connecticut students who demonstrate integrity, compassion, leadership, and commitment to service. Since 2023, we've awarded 24 scholarships totaling significant support for deserving students.
How can my company become a sponsor?
We offer various sponsorship levels from Hole Sponsorships ($200) to the Tournament/Technology Sponsorship ($3,750). Each level includes different benefits and recognition opportunities. Visit our sponsorship page or contact Matt Romanos directly to discuss the best option for your organization.
Can I attend just the dinner and awards ceremony?
Yes! While we'd love to have you on the course, we welcome supporters to join us for the dinner and awards ceremony. See options here.
What is the dress code?
Standard golf attire is required on the course. Collared shirts, golf shoes or sneakers, and appropriate golf pants or shorts. The VUE Country Club maintains traditional golf course dress code standards.
Is there a rain date?
The tournament will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather that makes play impossible, we will communicate any changes or rescheduling information to all registered participants.
