Our Why

At the Dare Greatly Foundation, our mission is to recognize and support young people who embody good character, strong morals, honesty, integrity, respect, and a passion for civic duty, volunteering, and helping others. We hope to empower a new generation of young leaders who can build a better society.

We believe that any young person with good character should have the opportunity to succeed. That’s why we provide financial scholarships to young people who meet the noble requirements of our application. If we can get them one step closer to what they need to achieve their dreams, then it’s a success for us.

One quality at the heart of our mission is compassion. We recognize that many young people face significant obstacles in their lives. Food insecurity, homelessness, lack of access to quality education, poverty, violence, and more. We believe that if we can show compassion towards these young people and provide them with the opportunities they need to thrive, we can impact their lives.

We also believe in integrity. We are committed to being transparent and honest in all our scholarship processes. We want to ensure that every young person who applies has an equal chance of being selected. We pledge to maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism so that people, families, and communities can trust us to be wise stewards of resources and scholarships.

Finally, we believe in respect. We recognize that each young person has unique strengths and challenges. We commit to supporting them in all ways that honor their individual qualities. We pledge to create a safe and welcoming process for all our scholarship applicants and recipients, where they can feel valued and supported.

Through our scholarships, we hope to empower young people with resources and support that can help them to achieve their full potential. By following the principles of compassion, integrity, and respect, we can make a positive impact on the lives of young people and help them create a better society for all.
