Purpose:
The Dare Greatly Foundation is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all individuals. This Non-Discrimination Policy outlines our commitment to equal opportunity in the administration of our scholarship programs and other foundation activities.
Policy Statement:
The Dare Greatly Foundation does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, marital status, military status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local laws.
Scope:
This policy applies to all aspects of the foundation’s operations, including but not limited to:
- The selection and awarding of scholarships.
- Interactions with scholarship applicants, recipients, and their families.
- Employment practices within the foundation.
- Partnerships with other organizations.
- Provision of services and programs.
Commitment to Inclusion:
- We strive to promote a culture that respects and values diversity.
- We actively seek to recognize and eliminate barriers that limit opportunities for underrepresented and underserved communities.
- We encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply for our scholarships and participate in our programs.
Implementation and Compliance:
- Our In-house counsel, Kailey Romanos, Esq. is responsible for implementing and monitoring this policy.
- All staff, volunteers, and foundation board members are expected to uphold and support this policy.
- Any concerns or complaints regarding discrimination or harassment should be reported to Kailey Romanos, Esq. for investigation and appropriate action.
- The foundation will take prompt and effective steps to address any discrimination issues, ensuring compliance with this policy.
Review and Amendments:
This policy will be reviewed annually and may be amended as needed to reflect changes in laws or foundation practices.
